Post N°2 - Why I chose to start to study a Sociology career

Hello! now I tell why I chose to start to study Sociology career.
When I was a child, I only thought about earning a lot of money, I spend all the time studying thinking about starting in the greatest university and get a great job. I started a civil engineering career, but at the end of the first year I didn't want to study anymore. That's right I left this career and thought about studying something really I like. However, taking a decision was very difficult.
Finally, I chose to study a sociology career because it's the best for me. I'm not interested in earning money anymore, I'm really interesting in working in building a better world.
Now, I'm very happy studying a lot of thinker and theories and I'm certain I made a correct decision because if I apply the consciousness in the practice I'll make a change.
For that I think to work with the community, I'll work in the municipality or in the intervention center of poor people.

Mi Favourite Band

Choosing one of all the bands that I like is very difficult. I think, in this moment, the band that I listen to more is Rodia. This is an Argentinian band of Punk rock, they have played since 2010 and have three records: "La rabia y la poesía" (2010), "Prefiero América" (2012) and "Caleidoscopio" (2014). They came to Chile in 2012, but I didn't go to the show because in that year I didn't have the sufficient age. I like this band because their rhythm and their lyrics contents of all the songs are very powerful. When I listen to each of their songs I'm very excited. My favourite song of this band is "Prefiero América", because it has a pretty lyric where they defend Latinoamérica and its unit as one nation, as well as in the final of this album has an amazing acoustic version.

Welcome!

Hello! My name is Kevin Carrasco Quintanilla, i'm a sociology student and i like English because is a universal lenguaje, but i don't like a timetable of class. I listen to music in English very often because the Spanish music that i like is a few in Spotify. I never watch movies in English, i need a traductor to see that. This is my most difficult aspect of English: The moment when i talk or listen in English, it's why i planned attend a every class of English.

Petrohue's River

This photography are took for one of my friends when we being in Petrohue's River. This picture show an magnificent rivers of south of Chile. When I was to backpacking with my friends in summer of 2017 we meet a lot of rivers and lakes, but Petrohue's River being a spectacular, I'm very fascinated this. It's incredible seen the nature far away of human contact. In this river I lose my shoes, I'm very sad for that, because I lose it, I contaminate the river. This vacation was very well, I have been in the south of Chile since Valdivia until Castro, in the Great Island of Chiloé. In the next vacation I plan to return to Chiloé and then continue traveling to south, I go to the “Austral” road. I love to travel and to know new places, it is an experience that everyone else has.
